Area golf teams struggle - Tuesday golf scores

Area golf teams took to the links Tuesday.

The Riverside boys hosted a quad match at Cherokee Hills.

Emmanuel Christian won with a 182, Jackson Center tallied a 184, Upper Scioto Valley recorded a 193, and Riverside scored a 202.

For the Pirates, James Hudson shot a 47, Trey Lane tallied a 50, Jason Yoder carded a 51, John Zumberger totaled a 54, and Matthew Snow added a 60.

For Jackson Center, Bryce Sosby fired a 44 and Trent Platfoot and Chris Elchert each contributed a 45.

The Benjamin Logan boys split a tri-match against Kenton and Fort Loramie.

Fort Loramie shot a 170, Benjamin Logan totaled a 176, and Kenton had a 180.

For the Raiders, Ethan Ricketts was also medalist with a 40, Will Kenoyer shot a 42, Garrett Allen and Bryce Loomis each contributed a 47, Carter Stewart had a 50, and Gavin Clay added a 54.

The West Liberty-Salem boys faced Greeneview and Northeastern in a tri-match.

Northeastern shot a 186, West Liberty-Salem tallied a 194, and Greeneview had a 200.

For the Tigers, Max Eggleston shot a 42, Tyler Gardner and Patrick Harr each tallied a 49, Michael Price carded a 54, Kenny Harr had a 60, and Jerrett Eckurd contributed a 75.

The Tigers improve to 8-5 in league play.

The Indian Lake girls lost to Allen East 217 to 223 at Cherokee Hills.

For the Lady Lakers, Belle Elliott carded a 53, Macey Taylor and Tiana Hughes each tallied a 56, and Taylor Mackesy added a 58.

Indian Lake will face Northwestern at Cherokee Hills Wednesday.
