Ball teams across the county played under ideal weather conditions Wednesday night.
Farm League:
Huntsville #1 Fulkerson Excavating and Zupp Trucking finished their season with a 14-0 record by defeating Ridgemont 12-11.
Six pitchers from Huntsville combined for 15 strikeouts. Garrett Gross closed the game and got the win.
With one out in the bottom of the sixth inning, Chris Murphy drove in Ethan Fulkerson for the game-winning run.
For Ridgemont, Ethan Mouser had three hits with a home run.
Huntsville #2 Logan County Co-op routed Quincy 14-2.
Dustin Franks recorded seven strikeouts and Matthew Risner tallied two strikeouts.
Dylan Rice had a double and a single, Risner had a double, and Franks added a triple.
F.O.P. defeated A&E Camping 15-10.
Gaige Sheeley, Nathaniel Schmid, and Justin Ritzma combined for 13 strikeouts.
Tariq Sopher had two triples, Korbin Fox was 3-for-3, Markus Bugler went 3-for-5, and Justin Ritzma added two hits.
F.O.P. also turned two double plays.
Softball:

Lakeview Osgood State Bank edged Rushsylvania 10-9.
Meliesha Hengsteler and Kenzie Jones combined for nine strikeouts. Jones earned the victory in relief.
Abby Watson had a double and an RBI, Hengsteler tallied a single, a triple, and four RBI’s, and April Whitcher had an RBI.
Jones and Madison Thompson each had a single.

Huntsville Northside Animal Clinic and Gentis Farms beat Degraff #1 Logan View Pediatrics.
Alyson Huffman and Callie Stidam dominated on the pitching mound.
Stidam hit a grand slam and Huffman added a double.
Summer Schmiedebusch, Kenzie Krock, Kristen Young, and Lizzie Forrman assisted for the win.
East Liberty Middleburg Reliant Mechanical outscored Bellefontaine #2 Peach Tree Books and Gifts 12-7.
Camille Clark struck out six batters and Baylee Manns struck out four.
Marisa Shively led the offense by scoring three runs, stealing two bases, and knocking in one run. Mataya Penhorwood, Camille Clark, Rachel Mears, and Emily Hill each had two RBI’s while Penhowood and Mila Hardman added two runs apiece.
Hardman also picked up two stolen bases.
Bellefontaine pitchers combined to strike out nine batters in the loss.
