Huntsville #2 T-Ball wins postseason tournament

T-Ball:

Huntsville #2 Woody’s Diner won the Logan County postseason tournament completing a perfect season (18-0).

The wins in the tournament included West Liberty #4 23-10, DeGraff #4 25-17, Washington #3 24-23 in extra innings, West Liberty #3 18-17, Huntsville #1 18-17, and Lakeview #3 20-15.

Avery Pequignot went 19-for-19 with seven doubles and 19 runs. Tori Roby was 18-for-18 with four doubles and 13 runs scored. Chase Schaub and Dawson Finfrock both went 18-for-18 with four doubles each. Owen Pummel went 14-for-14, tallied two home runs, and scored eight runs.

Pony League:

Ridgemont defeated West Liberty #1 5-3 in their final game of the regular season.

Hayden Ferrell, Cade McKinley, and Devin Robinson combined pitching efforts.

Robinson belted a home run, McKinley had a double and two singles, and Brandon Bennett, Zavier McGue, and Jace McGue each added a double.

Jr. Acme:

The Bellefontaine Merchants rolled past Beavercreek 12-2.

John Kirby fired a complete game with eight strikeouts.

Jordan Baughman went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple. Kirby went 2-for-4, batting in three runs. Gauge Hayman was 2-for-4 with a double and Lane Kiser went 2-for-3 and tallied two RBI’s. Clay Russell added a double and an RBI. Aaron Rutherford had two hits.

Bellefontaine (14-6) plays Lima Central Catholic at home tonight at 6.
