Local driver captures win in Michigan go-kart racing

Tayte Williamson (pictured) captured his first win in the Junior Sportsman class of the Young Gun Go-Kart Racing Series at Owosso Kart Speedway in Owosso, Michigan on Saturday.

Williamson won both of his heats to secure the inside pole for the feature. He battled first and second in the final but captured the win during turn four of the last lap with a pass to the outside.
