Dailey, Nisonger dominate opening night of harness racing

Harness racing fans were treated to nine feature races and four exhibition pony races Tuesday night at the Logan County Fair.

HIGHLIGHTS

Race 2 winner Royalness and Race 6 winner Melissa L are owned by Melissa Levan. Her father-in-law, Herb Levan trains both horses.  Melissa lives in Woodstock, Herb in Lewistown.

Jack Dailey and Jeff Nisonger both recorded two victories.

Royalness recorded the low time for the evening with a 2:01 4/5.

Christopher Hope's driving of Hollywood's Hustler in Race 4 was his first career win.
