Updated: Spartans drop high school match, weekend youth soccer scoreboard

The Calvary Christian high school team lost 9-2 to Delaware Christian Saturday morning.

Nathan Spyker scored both goals in the loss.

The loss drops Calvary’s record to 5-3-1 on the season.

Jr. High

West Liberty Yoder Farms/Thoman's IGA beat visiting LCS Elite 3-1 at Lions Park.

Ashley Rabenstein, Bishop Williamson, and Lily Yoder each scored a goal.

For LCS Elite, Kaleb Benny scored on an assist by Dalton Faler.

Calvary Christian blanked Benjamin Logan Black 11-0.

LCS Elite battled Benjamin Logan Gold to a 1-1 tie.

Dalton Faler scored for the Lakers on an assist from Rachel Kimmel.

Timmy Gerholdt scored for Benjamin Logan Gold.

12U

Calvary Christian defeated Bellefontaine 4-1.

Josh Kilgore had two goals and an assist. Derek Robb and Pete Kratz each added a goal. Garrett Reinhard contributed with an assist.

Huntsville outscored West Liberty #2 6-2.

Trent Berry scored twice. Hayden Pummel, Chloe Burba, Noah Hurley, and Matthew Risner each had a goal. Hurley, Karma Williams, Ethan Pequignot, and Rachel Davis each recorded an assist.

Defensive standouts were Kristen and Caitlyn Young, Gage Dempster, Raelyn Clary, and goalie David Haley.

On Sunday, the High Point Stars tied Upper Arlington 2-2.

Luke Woodruff scored both goals, Michael Horvath recorded an assist, Dominik Patton and Pryce Neeld sparked the defense, and Drew Wrocklage had a great game in goal and at midfield.

6, 7, and 8 City League

Hi-Point Nutrition beat Donatos 7-1.

Max Wilcoxon and EJ Edu scored two goals apiece. Tate Schmittauer, Drew Wrocklage, and Hara Brown added a goal. EJ Edu and Tevin Burris delivered assists.

For Donatos, Cam Neer scored a goal.

4-5 city coed soccer

AcuSport handled All-Around Awards 8-1.

Aden Downing and Ryan Carman each scored two goals. Kane Adkins, Rachel Walker, Dylan Welch, and Jordan Conner each added a goal.

For All-Around Awards, Lindsey Heminger scored.

Adkins, Angelica Edu, and Mamie Randall combined for 10 saves in goal.

Domino's shot past Scott's Power Equipment 5-2.

Daja Wilson had two goals. Kailynn Kenner, Ben Sailors, and Caitlyn Shumaker each added a goal.

Wilson, Sailors, and Shumaker each delivered an assist.

Goalie Miles Harte had an exceptional game. Aryn Angel shined on defense.

Simon Stolly scored both goals for Scott's Power Equipment.

10U

Lakeview C&S Farm Market fell to Huntsville 6-4.

Reid Vance scored three goals and Derrick Curtis added a goal.

Lakeview C&S Farm Market tied Calvary Christian 1-all.

Reid Vance scored the only goal for Lakeview.

For the Spartans, Hayden Neely scored a goal.

Dillon Jordan had 2 good saves as goalie and Isaac Reinhard played a great midfield game.

8U

Calvary 2 won 6-nil against Lakeview A.

Trever Berry scored 5 goals and Evan Patton scored the other goal.

Huntsville #3 beat Indian Lake B 4-0.

Lane Tucci had a hat trick and Elijah Slagle added a goal.

6U

Huntsville 2 defeated Huntsville 1 4-0.

For Huntsville 2, Lillian Deboard found the net for two goals. Riley Rash and Katy Roby both added a goal.

Lakeview Carpella's Sportswear team won 6-nil over Huntsville 3.

Scoring goals were Landen Wisener (x4), Davia Tucker, and Mason Tucker.

Carpella’s record is 3-0-1.

Huntsville 4 defeated Indian Lake C 5-0.

Chase Schaub, Griffin Schaub, Jackson Young, Ryan Culp, and Kahne Ferguson scored one goal each for the winners.

Calvary 1 lost to Indian Lake B 4-3.

Abigail Reinhard scored two goals for Calvary with Courtney Knight adding the final goal for the Spartans.

Owen Sellars and Jonathan Perdue played excellent defense for the Spartans.
