Mac-O-Chee hosts 4th weekend of Friday Night Shootout and Weekly Points

The Mac-O-Chee Quarter Midget Racing Association raced the 4th leg of the Friday Night Shootout Series last weekend at Lions Park in West Liberty.

In the Senior Honda race, Hunter Lynch captured the checkered, Austin Nigh finished 2nd, Travis Staup 3rd, and Hunter Bostater 4th.

Austin Bostater took the Heavy Honda race.

Sisters Morgan and Erin Hamby competed in the Red Rookie class. Morgan claimed 1st and Erin placed 2nd.

The Blue Rookies class was won by Cody Stevens and Tom Stevens finished 2nd. 

In the Junior Honda class, Hayden Wren claimed 1st, J.J. Donnaker 2nd, Wyatt Pelfrey 3rd, and Taylor Gruss 4th.

The Light 160 class was won by Austin Nigh and Hunter Lynch was 2nd.

On Saturday, Mac-O-Chee hosted a weekly points series.

Senior Honda was won by Austin Nigh, Hunter Lynch came in 2nd, and Zach McConahay placed 3rd.

Austin Bostater won the Heavy Honda race.

The Red Rookie class saw Morgan Hamby secure the win, Gage Evans finished 2nd, Brooklyn Tilton claimed 3rd, Jayden Bogner was 4th, Quinn Peterson finished 5th, and Taylor McConahay was 6th.

The Junior Honda race was captured by Wyatt Pelfrey, Luke Lemons took 2nd, J.J. Donnaker 3rd, Hayden Wren finished 4th, and Taylor Gruss finished 5th.

The Light 160 class was won by Austin Nigh. Hunter Lynch was 2nd, Austin Powell 3rd, Travis Staup 4th, Zach McConahay 5th, and Tyler Meyer 6th.

Mac-O-Chee drivers will be visiting Buckeye QMRA in Columbus this weekend for a weekly points series event as well as the Mid-Ohio Championship Series. They will return to Lions Park in West Liberty on October 12th and 13th.
