Raiders spike Tecumseh - Volleyball scoreboard

The Benjamin Logan varsity volleyball team improved to 17-2 Tuesday evening taking down CBC crossover foe Tecumseh. The host Raiders won in four games 25-12, 25-21, 23-25, 25-10. Leading the way were Ciarra Wirick with 13 kills, 19 digs, and 3 blocks, Jen Poling with 7 kills and 14 digs, Kylee Smith with 9 kills, and Taylor Quay with 10 kills. Marissa Wilbur dished out 36 assists.

The JV Raiders defeated Tecumseh in straight games 25-18, 25-22. Brittany Burton had a solid night with 15 points and handed out 6 assists. Katie Bisel had 7 kills and Jessica Sosby came up with 10 digs.

The Freshmen Raiders beat Bellefontaine 25-20, 25-17. Kate Campbell recorded 5 kills and 9 points. Megan Rutan dished out 19 assists.

The Benjamin Logan JV and varsity teams travel to Northwestern Thursday for a CBC league game. The JV Raiders will play at 4:15 and the varsity match is set to begin at 7:30. This is a change in the schedule.

The Indian Lake varsity swept visiting Dayton Stebbins 25-16, 25-18, 25-13.

Mikaela Oyer recorded 16 kills and a team-high 15 digs. Claire Maier tallied 22 assists and 12 digs.

The JV Lakers defeated the Indians in two games.

Kayleigh Heitkamp had a great night on serve receive.

The Bellefontaine varsity team beat host Northwestern 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Whitney Rader had 9 kills, 3 blocks, and was 8-for-8 serving, Kameren Haley blasted 10 kills, Jessica Kinchen recorded 7 kills and 11 digs, Shelbi Kauffman and Jordan Lininger had 9 digs apiece, Jaelyn Jester delivered 15 assists, Kenzie Brunswick had 8 digs, Jazmyn Haley recorded 3 blocks and 4 digs, and Peighton Wagoner added 2 blocks.

Bellefontaine is 12-6 overall.

The JV Chiefs won 20-25, 25-19, 25-18.

All three Bellefontaine teams play at Kenton Ridge tonight.

Jr. High:

The West Liberty-Salem 8th grade team fell to Miami View 17-25, 22-25.

Mikaila McIntosh had 5 points, 5 kills, and 3 blocks, Kelby Strapp recorded 4 points and 3 kills, and Camille Whitcraft added 4 points and 2 kills.

WLS is 5-8. They will visit Graham Saturday morning at ten o'clock.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade team lost to Miami View 25-19, 10-25, and 20-25.

Jonni Parker had 7 points and 5 kills, Tory Cordell recorded 6 points and 2 kills, and Macy Murphy added 5 points.

The Tigers are 12-1.
