The Benjamin Logan girls cross country team ran in the Mechanicsburg Invitational on Tuesday. The team placed 2nd with 62 points. Host Mechanicsburg won the meet with 36 points. Riverside standout Ella Jackson was the individual winner in a time of 20:39.
The Raiders were led by Logan Dunn in a time of 23:53. She placed 14th in a field of 37 runners. Completing the scoring were Krystal Null 16th (24:26), Caitlyn Morgan 18th (24:33), Morgan Allen 19th (24:52), Lauren Johns 20th (24:56), Amanda Frasure 21st (25:07), and Ashley Gearheart 22nd (25:40). Also running were Kelsey Baughman 25th (26:30), Carli Henman 26th (27:07), Jessica Skidmore 28th (28:42), Madison Leis 29th (28:46), Haley Jones 31st (30:15), Jessica Goff 34th (33:16), and Katie Honaker 37th (38:28).
The Jr. High Lady Raiders placed 2nd with a team score of 72. Fairbanks won the invitational with 56 points. Emily Wilson of Mechanicsburg won the race in a time of 13:45.
The Raiders were led by Maggie Woodruff, who placed 13th in a time of 15:55. Completing the scoring were Brooke Watson 14th (19:31), Anastasia Haywood 17th (20:56), Kayla Null 18th (21:25), and Jessica Hillary 26th (27:58).
The Raider Jr. High boys placed 3rd with a team score of 65 points. South Vienna won the meet with 36 points. The individual winner was Alex Zaage from Cedarville. He covered the two-mile course in 12:30.
Colton Jones paced the Raiders with his 9th place finish in a time of 14:36. Completing the scoring were Logan Phillips 14th (15:42), Hayden Lockwood 16th (16:01), Luke Longbrake 20th (16:45), and Ryan Spatz 24th (17:50).
