The undefeated Blue and Green teams clashed in a YMCA Flag Football contest on Saturday, with the Blue team coming out on top 37-12.
Scoring for the Blue Team was Kameron Smith with one touchdown rushing and one receiving. Robbie Jones also scored twice. More TDs came from Griffin Graham and Garrett Jenkins. Austin McGowan scored on an extra point attempt.
Garrett Payer had a long run and Kameron Smith, Matt Mott and Parker McGowan had big gains receiving.
Great defense was played by all with Gage Pope leading the way with multiple tackles and Matt Mott with an interception.
For the Green team, Riley Wilcoxon and Evan Culp scored. Mitchell Vance played very well on defense.
The Red team sealed a 31-21 win over the Orange team with a last minute QB draw by Eli Moore for a 45 yd touchdown run.
Adding touchdowns to help the win were Alex Caudill, Tayte Williamson, Lucas Hemmelgarn, and Levon Howard.
For the Orange team, Trey Miracle caught the ball for the first touchdown and Kyle Carper caught the ball for the 2 point conversion. Kaden Arn ran 55 yards the second touchdown. Benjamin Printz scored the final touchdown and Kaden Arn scored the 1 point conversion.
Drew Phillips and Zachary Horvath played a great defensive game and made stops when they were needed.
