Bellefontaine played Graham at Tecumseh Saturday to open their tournament play, winning in three games (25-18, 25-14, 25-23).
For the Lady Chiefs, Jessica Kinchen had 12 kills and 15 digs, Kameren Haley 13 kills, Shelbi Kauffman 12 digs, Kenzie Brunswick 8 kills, Whitney Rader 6 kills, Jaelyn Jester 21 for 21 serving with 25 assists, Carley Strzalka 17 for 17 serving, Jordan Lininger 12 for 12 serving with 13 assists, and Peighton Wagoner and Jazmyn Haley each added a block.
Bellefontaine will play Urbana Tuesday at 7:45 at Tecumseh.
Indian Lake opened tournament play on Saturday vs. Tipp City.
Indian Lake got off to a slow start, losing the first set 15-25. They came back to win set two at 25-21, but gave the 3rd set back to Tipp (19-25).
Mikaela Oyer really came alive for the Lakers in the fourth and then the fifth set as they went on to win the match with games of 25-21 and 15-13.
Mikaela dominated at the net with an incredible 14 blocks and 16 kills, Claier Maier had 33 assists and a team-high 23 digs, and Allison Knief contributed very strong serving for the win.
Benjamin Logan knocked off Trotwood-Madison in the first round of the sectional tournament in straight games (25-10, 25-11, 25-12) to improve to 21-2.
For the Raiders, Ciarra Wirick recorded 9 kills, Alex Thompson added 8 kills, and Taylor Quay had 5 kills. Courtney Stewart had 15 points. Marissa Wilbur dished out 18 assists and Tayler Rose handed out 8 assists.
The Lady Raiders will take on Indian Lake in the sectional semifinal Tuesday evening at Tecumseh High School. Game time is 6:00.

Frazier was 34 of 39 setting with 9 assists and Betsy King was 19 of 19 setting with 6 assists. Defensively, Boysel put up 3 blocks and Frazier had 3 digs.
The Lady Raiders then fell to Urbana in two games (18-25, 10-25).
Addie Rodenberger and Betsy King were each 6 of 6 serving. Offensively, Coreen Crosby had 3 kills, Betsy King was 14 of 16 setting and Brianna Frazier was 9 of 10 setting with 5 assists.
The Lady Raiders finished their season 17-4.
The WL-S Eighth grade lost to Mechanicsburg in two games (8-25, 15-25).
Olivia Ames had 2 points with 3 kills, Kiana Reames and Camille Whitcraft both had 2 points, Mikalia McIntosh 3 kills, and Kelby Strapp 2 kills.
The Tigers end their season with the record of 7-10.
The Seventh grade Tigers won the OHC tournament on Saturday, ending their season with an 18-1 record.
In the first game, the Tigers defeated Mechanicsburg in 2 sets (25-11, 25-20).
Jonni Parker had 11 points, 10 aces, and 4 kills, Cassie Luthman 6 points and 2 aces, and Macy Murphy added 4 points.
In the second game, WL-S defeated Miami View in 2 sets (28-26, 25-9).

The Indian Lake 7th grade volleyball team finished up their season Saturday in the CBC tournament. The Lakers defeated Northwestern 25-18, 25-23.
Libby Cotterman was 12/12 hitting with 6 kills while Jenni Kaffenbarger had 2 kills. Aubrey Grider was perfect on serve receive and serving. Lauren Anderson added 5 aces and Tatum Reprogle served 4 aces.
The Lakers then fell in the semifinals to top-seeded Northridge in 2 sets.
Payton Manahan was perfect on serve while Skylr Timbrook added a kill.
The 7th grade team finished their season 14-6.
