Updated: Youth Soccer scores from Saturday

The Calvary Christian Spartans defeated West Liberty 1 5-0 in the Logan County Youth tournament.

Keepers Garrett Criner and Cody Kuhn combined for the shutout.

Josh Kilgore had two goals. Collin Jordan, J.C. Patton, and Pete Kratz each added a goal. Garrett Reinhard had two assists and Derek Robb delivered an assist.

The CCS Spartans will play in the championship game against Huntsville Saturday morning at 11:00 in Huntsville.

Zanesfield Byers Imports edged Riverside 2 2-1 in the West Liberty Tournament Finals.

Collin Stewart and Carter Stewart scored one goal each with an assist by Cameron Epp.

Calvary Christian opened tournament play by defeating Huntsville 2 4-1.

For the Spartans, Haydn Neely and Blake Wish each scored twice.

U8

Calvary 2 blanked Huntsville 3 4-0.

Trevor Berry scored twice. Evan Patton and Graham Studebaker each added a goal.

Wylie Harbour recorded the shutout in goal.

Huntsville 2 kicked past Huntsville 1 4-1 in the opening round of the tournament.

Trenton Fulkerson scored four goals in the win.

Keepers Beau Young and Mason Beres combined for the win.

Midfielder Colby Borgerding had a strong game.

For Huntsville 1, Rece Kimmel scored.

Huntsville 2 then beat North Logan 1 2-0.

Fulkerson scored both goals, assisted by Preston Bothel.

Young and Beres combined for the shutout.

Tori Hurley and Elayna Richardson played well as midfielders and forwards.

Huntsville 2 will play in the semifinals Saturday morning at 10:00 at Lions Park.

Huntsville 2 defeated Huntsville 1 3-1.

Lillian Deboard knocked in a pair of goals and Katy Roby added a goal. Riley Rash picked up an assist.

For Huntsville 1, Macy Flescher scored a goal.

Huntsville 4 defeated Indian Lake C 2-0 in tournament play.

Avery Pequignot scored a pair of goals for Huntsville.

Fran's Mowing of West Liberty closed out their season with a 3-1 win over Zanesfield 1.

Leighanne McGill led Fran's with 2 goals to give her 6 on the season. Peyton Hull also had a goal, his team-high 8th of the year.

Fran's finishes the year with a 4-2-2 record.
