Leis, Custer run strong for Heidelberg at conference championship

A couple of local cross country standouts competed for Heidelberg University at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Wilmington College recently.
Benjamin Logan graduate Logan Leis (pictured) placed 25th in 26:34 to help the men’s team place 7th.
Triad graduate Bobbi Custer finished 12th with a time of 24:15 to aid the women’s team in an 8th place finish.
Leis graduated from Benjamin Logan in 2010 and Custer graduated from Triad in 2009.
