Several area high school football teams hit the gridiron for opening-round playoff games Friday night.
Division II:
Top-ranked Cincinnati Turpin defeated Tipp City 26-3. The Red Devils finish 8-3.
Top-seeded Dresden Tri-Valley outscored visiting Tecumseh 47-29. The Arrows, the CBC Kenton Trail champs, went 8-3 this fall.
Division IV:
North Union beat Galion 40-21. It's the Wildcats first playoff win in school history.
Ottawa-Glandorf smashed Lorain Clearview 72-0. The Titans are 11-0.
Division VI:
Ada handled Waynesfield-Goshen 50-15. The Tigers finish 4-7.
St. Henry outscored visiting Ft. Loramie 45-21.
Minster stifled Tri-County North 48-7.
Marion Local knocked out Bradford 53-27.
