Coach Mike Louden said, "To finish our season at the State meet is something these guys will look back on and appreciate years down the road. I thought the race was our second best race of the year overall despite the high finish. There is reason this is the State meet and the competition was the best it's been in seven years. I told the guys that they had nothing to be disappointed about, because there are about hundred and sixty other schools that would have killed just to have made it to the State meet and been in their spot."
Other finishers for WL-S include Joey Adams (107), Chris Buschur (122), Ross Kelley (135), Stephen Whetstine (136), and Alex Steiner (137).
Aaron Scott, Alex Steiner, and Chris Buschur also earned Academic All-Ohio honors.
