The Bellefontaine boys golf team presented four awards at their postseason banquet Wednesday night.
Most Improved went to senior Travis Fowler (pictured) for his off-season work ethic and taking 3.73 strokes off of his junior scoring average. Fowler plans to plays college golf at Urbana University.
Best Golfer went to junior Cody Lyons for his 40.25 scoring average on the year. Cody was a First-team all CBC selection, Sectional Tournament 3rd place individual finisher, and qualified for the Southwest District Division I tournament.
Team MVP also went to Travis Fowler for his overall leadership qualities that he displayed throughout the season, earning First-team all CBC honors and the CBC Sportsmanship Award for the third year in a row.
Coach’s Award went to junior Cody Hullinger for his future in the game. He is a player to watch for the Chiefs next season.
