Meghan Vogel was recently honored with a National Sportsmanship Award.
On Saturday, Vogel received the award presented by Maryville University.
Meghan was honored for carrying Arlington sophomore Arden McMath across the finish line in the 3200m race at the state meet in May.
With about 30 meters remaining McMath collapsed and Vogel helped her to the finish line, allowing McMath to finish just ahead of her.
