The high school bowling season opened last night at T-P Lanes with a tri-match featuring Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, and West Liberty-Salem.
Bellefontanie won the varsity boys match with a 2,717, Benjamin Logan followed with a 2,696, and and West Liberty-Salem tallied a 2,018.
Devin Legge paced the Chiefs with games of 233 and 236 for a 469 series.
Dylan Legge recorded a 182 and a 203 for a 385 series.
For Benjamin Logan, David Miller fired games of 267 and 225 for a 492 series.
Logan Wenger had a pair of 213 games for a 426 series, Wes Brown shot a 188, and Josh Wiley recorded a 182.
For West Liberty-Salem, Garret Rudasill had a team-high 394 series.
Phil Davis and Brad Burt combined for a 342 series.
Benjamin Logan won the varsity girls match with an 1,897, West Liberty-Salem shot an 1,817, and Bellefontaine tossed a 1,718.
Danielle Jones paced the Raiders with a pair of 181 games for a 362 series.
Becca Crum recorded a 146 and Lacey Miller added a 136.
For West Liberty-Salem, Codi McNutt had a 221 game and a 380 series.
Emily Crook fired a 260 series.
For Bellefontaine, Allie Skelly had a 170 game and a 315 series.
Peighton Wagoner fired a 155 game and a 301 series.
