West Liberty-Salem rallies past Graham - Basketball scoreboard

Several area boys basketball teams were in action Tuesday night.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity defeated host Graham 52-48.

The Tigers outscored the Falcons 21-15 in the final quarter.

Landon Hormann paced the winners with 18 points. He hit 10-11 free throws.

Grant Burden fired in 17 points.

Hormann and Burden each scored 6 points in the fourth quarter.

Graham standout Grant Goddard poured in a game-high 22 points.

WLS is 1-1.

The JV Tigers won 51-39.

Ross Kelley scored 17 points and Kris Bruns added 12.

Other varsity finals:

Fairbanks beat host Benjamin Logan 61-48. The Raiders are 1-2.

Jackson Center shot past Indian Lake 59-31.

Alex Meyer led JC with 25 points and 8 rebounds.

Sophomore Jalon Tuttle paced the Lakers with 14 points.

The Tigers are 2-0; the Lakers are 0-3.

Fairlawn outscored Triad 78-70.

North Union ran past Ridgemont 105-54.

Urbana beat Mechanicsburg 53-35.

Kenton defeated Waynesfield-Goshen 59-52.

Botkins knocked off Russia 62-48. The Trojans are 3-0.

Tipp City outlasted Piqua 72-59 in overtime.

Greenon edged Northeastern 50-48.

Wayne blitzed Sidney 95-57.

Dayton Stebbins beat Belmont 72-62.

Miami East steamrolled Oakwood 64-42.

Lima Senior defeated Wapakoneta 64-58.

Jr. High:

The Riverside 8th grade boys fell to Fairbanks 43-30.

Kurt Waters had 10 points and Hayden Robinson added 7 points.

The Riverside 7th grade boys outscored Fairbanks 40-25.

Caleb Stevens paced the Pirates with 22 points, Gavin Stallard tossed in 6 points, and Nick Hall added 5 points.

Both Riverside teams are 1-1.
