The Bellefontaine High School swim team opened their season Saturday at Trotwood-Madison High School.
The team performed extremely well with the boys winning the 18-team meet. The girls finished 5th out of 21 teams.
Finishing first for the Chiefs were the boys medley and free relays of Andy Ames, Isaiah Brady, Josh Haisley, and Evan Snapp as well as Jessica Miller winning the 50 Free.
Other top three finishes included Josh Haisley 2nd in the 100 IM and 2nd in the 50 Fly, Andy Ames 3rd in 50 back, and the girls free relay of Emma Smith, Katie Vetorino, Shelby Phillips, and Jessica Miller finished 3rd.
Bellefontaine has their home opener Tuesday night at the Hilliker YMCA at 6:00.
