Bellefontaine varsity boys bowl to victory, Benjamin Logan girls roll

A couple local bowling teams were toppling pins Tuesday.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys defeated Benjamin Logan 2,617 to 2,420 at TP Lanes.

For Bellefontaine, Joey Jacobs fired a 464 series, Cody Hullinger shot a 426 series, Cale Sterling bowled a 391 series, and Nathan Wilson added a 205 game.

For the Raiders, Logan Wenger fired a 397 series, Weston Easter bowled a 372 series, and Josh Wiley contributed a 362 series.

The Benjamin Logan JV boys toppled Bellefontaine 1,753 to 1,578.

For Bellefontaine, Dalton Massey rolled a 166 game and Adam Williams added a 130 game.

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls beat Bellefontaine 1,931 to 1,814.

For the Lady Raiders, Danielle Jones fired a 370 series, Alyssa Smucker rolled a 181 game, and Deanndra Carpenter added a 167 game.

For Bellefontaine, Alley Skelly contributed a 285 series, Peighton Wagoner rolled a 136 game, and Sierra Rhoades added a 131 game.

Benjamin Logan will compete against Kenton Ridge Wednesday at TP Lanes.

The West Liberty-Salem boys fell to Piqua 2,411 to 1,945.

Garret Rudasill shot a 345 series, Austin Randall fired a 318 series, Phil Davis and Ben Cummins combined for a 272 series, Justin Dallas and Gage Rudasill combined for a 251 series, and Nathan Stewart and Brad Burt added a combined 173 series.

The West Liberty-Salem girls lost to Piqua 2,176 to 1,964.

Codi McNutt bowled a 353 series, Sarah Eleyet rolled a 279 series, Megann Boyd and Emily Crook each added a 266 series, and Sami Lay and Natalie Evans combined for a 189 series.
