Lady Tigers basketball falls short to Springfield Shawnee – Monday basketball scoreboard

Several area basketball teams hit the court Monday.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity girls were edged by Springfield Shawnee 53-50.

Melany Ward scored 19 points and Maria Daulton added 12 points.

The West Liberty-Salem 8th grade girls lost to Miami View 37-28.

Lily Yoder recorded 14 points and 6 steals and Olivia Ames tallied 7 points and 2 assists.

For Miami View, Jessica Erwin scored 17 points and Maddie McKee added 12 points.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade girls defeated Miami View 27-7.

Jonni Parker totaled 9 points and 5 rebounds, Laine Godwin contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds, Aubrie Stillings scored 4 points, and Taylor Lauck added 7 steals and 4 assists.

For Miami View, Madison Goodbar scored 7 points.

The 7th grade Lady Tigers improve to 6-1.

The junior high Lady Tigers travel to South Vienna Tuesday.

The Indian Lake 8th grade boys beat Graham 43-30.

Dylan Albright and Alex Jacobs each scored 9 points, Nate Kaffenbarger produced 8 points, Tyler Reprogle recorded 7 points, Dalton Faler tallied 4 points, and Jacob Brunson and Justin Young each added 2 points.

The 8th grade Lakers move to 6-0 and travel to Kenton Tuesday.

The Indian Lake 8th grade girls defeated Graham 50-30.

Morgan Evilsizor recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds, Sammi Miller tallied 17 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists, Brooke Lewis contributed 7 points and 9 rebounds, Kennedy Wallbrown had 4 points and 5 assists, and Olivia Amspaugh and Kelson Stidam each added 2 points.

The 8th grade Lady Lakers improve to 4-4.

The Calvary Christian High School boys fell to Sidney Christian.

Josh Wilt scored 6 points, Ian McGillis tallied 4 points, and Nathan Spyker grabbed 9 rebounds.

The Calvary Christian junior high boys defeated Sidney Christian 48-25.

Parker Grothaus recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds and Josiah Kratz contributed 6 points and 4 rebounds.

The junior high Spartans improve to 3-0 on the season.
