The senior signed a letter of intent with Division II Owens Community College during a ceremony in the Benjamin Logan media center Monday afternoon.

Wirick was joined by her family, teammates, and high school coach Alli Reule.

Wirick, who was named the CBC Mad River Division Player of the Year, was a three-year starter for the Raiders. She spearheaded the Raiders to a league title in the fall.

Wirick considered Heidelberg and Wooster.

She chose Owens Community College because of the financial package offered by the Toledo area two-year school.

Listen to Wirick explain her choice and describe her game.

Listen to BLHS head coach Alli Reule reflect on the signing.

Hear longtime Owens Community College coach Sonny Lewis discuss his newest recruit.

Wirick will major in physical therapy.

Benjamin Logan went 22-3 last season with a 10-0 league record.

Wirick, who was a utility player for the Raiders, will be a setter at Owens Community College.
