A couple local schools recently received Ohio High School Football Coaches Association (OHSFCA) Academic All-Ohio honors.
Benjamin Logan, Mechanicsburg, and Sidney were among 73 teams that received the honor.
To qualify for All-Ohio honors, schools submitted a list of 22 players. Each player had to earn a varsity letter and their 1st quarter of the school year GPA was considered.
Three Benjamin Logan seniors obtained OHSFCA 2012 Academic All-Ohio recognition.
Landon Johnson, Brent Weiss, and Matt Wilt were among the 99 seniors recognized.
Each had to earn first team all-league, county, or district honors and have a highly competitive GPA.
