The Bellefontaine varsity girls' basketball team hosted Urbana Wednesday.
The Lady Chiefs defeated the Lady Hillclimbers 59-54.
For Bellefontaine, Jazmyn Haley recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds, Whitney Rader scored 12 points, Sajah Carter tallied 9 points, and Regan Price added 8 points.
For Urbana, Trischa Lacy scored 21 points and Braxton Rogan contributed 17 points.
Urbana led at halftime 31-28.
The second half went back and forth before Bellefontaine earned a small lead for the win.
The Lady Hillclimbers fall to 4-5 and travel to Greenon Saturday.
The Lady Chiefs improve to 6-3 and host Tecumseh Saturday.
