Lady Chiefs give Arrows tough game, Lady Tigers and Lady Raiders not challenged - basketball scoreboard

The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs fell to a late rally and CBC leading scorer Bianca Quisenberry’s 33 points against Tecumseh 69-66.

The Lady Chiefs placed four players in double figures with Jazmyn Haley and Whitney Rader each scoring 14 points, Brenda Johnson 11 points, and Regan Price 10 points.

Tecumseh is now 10-1 (5-0) while the Chiefs fall to 6-4 (2-2).

West Liberty-Salem stopped Northeastern 46-34. Melany Ward scored 13 points and Maria Daulton 11 for the Tigers.

WL-S dominated the JV contest 54-18. Jamie Peterson scored 13 points and Madi Oelker tossed in 11 points.

The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders stomped Northwestern 70-33. Jessica Yoder scored 24 and Ciarra Wirick 19 for the winners.

In the JV game Benjamin Logan won 45-22. Hannah Boysel and Dakota Derr each scored nine points for the Raiders.

Other scores:

Greenon ran past Urbana 59-39.

Triad outpaced Springfield Catholic 62-42.

Mechanicsburg shut down Southeastern 44-27.

Graham pounded Emmanuel Christian 67-8.

Anna beat Miami East 51-43.

Ada fell to New Riegel 46-42.

Ft. Loramie knocked off Minster 47-39.

Russia beat New Knoxville 45-39.

Sidney beat Trotwood-Madison 51-32.


West Liberty-Salem nipped Kenton Ridge 59-58 in overtime. Landon Hormann scored 28 points for the Tigers, with teammate Grant Burden adding 17.

WLS has won six straight to move to 6-1.

The Tigers also won the JV game in close fashion, edging the Cougars 42-39. Kris Bruns and Brandon Adams each scored 10 points for the victors.

Other scores:

Botkins slipped past Riverside 55-53 in triple overtime.

Graham won 59-49 over Ponitz Tech.

Northeastern knocked off Triad 60-50.

Mechanicsburg lost in overtime 55-54 to Southeastern.

Upper Scioto Valley edged Allen East 62-59.

Lehman lost to Miami East 56-52.

Anna fell to Minster 57-56 in OT.

Ada was dropped by New Knoxville 62-48.

St. Henry rolled over Ft. Loramie 56-36.
