Chiefs top Jonathon Alder in defensive struggle

The Bellefontaine varsity boys’ basketball team extended their winning streak to five games Wednesday.

As heard on 1390 WBLL, the Chiefs defeated Jonathon Alder 39-26.

The Chiefs never trailed.

Steve Austin's Player of the Game honors went to Bellefontaine's Tristin Tillman and A.J. Gorham.

For the Chiefs, Tristin Tillman scored 9 points and Jake Kennedy recorded 8 points.

Matt Gump injured his hand in the 2nd quarter and did not return.

The Chiefs improve to 5-2 on the season and travel to Tecumseh Friday. That game will air on 1390 WBLL.
