WLS bowls down Springfield Catholic, Bellefontaine gets swept

A couple area bowling teams competed Friday.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys edged Springfield Catholic by 3 pins, 2,166 to 2,163.

For the Tigers, Justin Dallas fired a 182 game, Garret Rudasill shot a 144 game, Phil Davis recorded a 175 game, Brad Burt tallied a 168 game, and Ben Cummins added a 138 game.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity girls defeated Springfield Catholic 2,055 to 1,868.

For the Lady Tigers, Codi McNutt bowled a 192 game, Sarah Eleyet rolled a 187 game, Megann Boyd totaled a 143 game, Emily Crook contributed a 132 game, and Sami Lay added a 127 game.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys fell to Kenton Ridge 2,824 to 2,677.

For the Chiefs, Roman Miller shot a 433 series, Joey Jacobs fired a 410 series, Devin Legge contributed a 384 series, Adam Williams rolled a 204 game, and Cody Hullinger added a 183 game.

The Bellefontaine JV boys lost to Kenton Ridge 1,969 to 1,920.

For the JV Chiefs, Alex Richards recorded a 368 series, Caleb Wykstra tallied a 157 game, and Josh Rinbolt added a 141 game.

The Bellefontaine varsity girls fell to Kenton Ridge 2,159 to 2,146.

For the Lady Chiefs, Peighton Wagoner fired a 364 series, Sierra Rhoades totaled a 343 series, Allie Skelly tallied a 328 series, and Haleigh Stafford added a 310 series.

The Bellefontaine JV girls lost to Kenton Ridge 1,706 to 1,534.

For the JV Lady Chiefs, Brandy Cole bowled a 138 game, Hannah Hall rolled a 127 game, and Emily Castle added a 120 game.

The Graham varsity boys beat Greenon 2,270 to 2,144.

For the Falcons, Brendon Holtvoigt fired a 447 series and Lloyd Eaton rolled a 417 series.

The Graham varsity girls lost to Greenon 2,463 to 2,385.

For the Lady Falcons, Sarah Carpenter bowled a 430 series.
