Updated: Tigers, Gopher boys win; Lady Raiders beat Lady Lakers - basketball scoreboard

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers slipped past visiting Greeneview 57-54 on Saturday to remain perfect in OHC play.

The Tigers, now 9-2 overall and 7-0 in conference play, got 23 points from Landon Hormann on 64% shooting from the field.

Greeneview won the JV game 41-36. Kris Bruns scored 15 points for the JV Tigers.

Ridgemont blasted North Baltimore 66-39, placing three players in double-digit scoring.

For the Gophers, Josh Corbin scored 16 points, Tim Cowan 15, and Chris Weyant 12.

Ridgemont is now 3-8 on the season.

Other boys scores:

Anna edged Marion Local 43-40.

Minster fell to Ottoville 48-39.

Fort Loramie was dusted by Versailles 66-38.

Ada lost to Upper Scioto Valley 71-54.

Jackson Center knocked off Waynesfield-Goshen 58-44.


In a Logan County battle, Benjamin Logan beat Indian Lake 39-29.

Ciarra Wirick scored 14 points to lead the Raiders. Teammate Jessica Yoder added 12.

Indian Lake standout Mikaela Oyer poured in 19.

The Lady Raiders also won the JV contest, shutting down the Lady Lakers 24-10.

Bellefontaine rolled at Dayton Stebbins 46-25.

The Chiefs jumped out to a 29-10 halftime lead.

Jazmyn Haley had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Whitney Rader recorded 10 points and 6 rebounds.

The Chiefs outrebounded the Indians 39-28.

Bellefontaine is 7-4, 3-2; Stebbins is 5-6, 1-4.

The JV Chiefs lost 37-32.

Ashley Artis and Maddie Mitchell each had 11 points.

Triad knocked off West Liberty-Salem 44-38.

Taylor Day scored 11 points and Melany Ward 10 for the Lady Tigers.

The Tigers rolled in the JV game, beating the Cardinals 52-28.

Madi Oelker scored 20 points and Jamie Peterson 13 for the winners.

Other girls scores:

Urbana beat Graham 59-43.

Minster fell to Celina 50-38.

Wapakoneta was nipped by Kalida 46-45.

Ada was dropped by Liberty-Benton 54-36.

Upper Scioto Valley slipped past Allen East 52-47.

Ridgemont was pounded by North Baltimore 75-25.

Anna rolled past Marion Local 62-46.

Ft. Loramie rocked New Bremen 76-35.

Jackson Center fell to visiting Covington 49-39.


The Bellefontaine 6th grade boys defeated Triad 38-16 in the Tri-County League Sunday.

Jack Clement poured in 18 points. Aaron Malarkey and Colby Henry sparked the defense and Tremayne Wilson led in rebounding.
