The West Liberty-Salem girls’ basketball team defeated Triad 44-22 in second round tournament action Wednesday.
For the Lady Tigers, Lily Yoder recorded 25 points, 8 steals, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists, Mikalia McIntosh tallied 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals, and Kiana Reames contributed 5 points and 2 steals.
For Triad, Abby Ehrenborg scored 18 points and Haley Stepk and Jennifer Sizemore each added 2 points.
The 8th grade Lady Tigers play in the championship game at Triad High School Saturday.
