Chiefs drop heartbreaker at Tipp City - Friday Basketball Scoreboard (Audio included)

Several local boys basketball teams hit the court for league games last night.

Bellefontaine dropped a heartbreaker at rival Tipp City, falling 62-59 in overtime.

The Chiefs squandered a seven-point lead (45-38) with 1:56 remaining in regulation.

The Red Devils forced overtime when senior guard Austin Hadden drained a deep three-pointer with two seconds left.

Tipp City outscored Bellefontaine 15-12 in the extra session.

BHS sophomore guard Tristin Tillman led all scorers with 24. Logan Mitchell recorded another double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

The Chiefs lost both regular season matchups to the Red Devils by three points.

Bellefontaine is 9-8 overall and 3-5 in the CBC. The Chiefs will host Graham Tuesday night on WBLL.

Tipp City moves to 14-3, 6-2.

The JV Chiefs fell to the Red Devils 45-42. Dorion Hughes paced Bellefontaine with 12 points.

The freshman Chiefs handled Tipp City 46-25. Jacob Rogan fired in 15 points.

Indian Lake lost at Northwestern 43-37.

Brennon Lump paced the Lakers with 15.

Earlier in the season, Indian Lake drubbed the Warriors 68-36.

The Lakers are 3-13, 3-5.

Benjamin Logan fell at Urbana 68-46.

Blaine Ricketts scored 16 in the loss. Tanner Rader added 10.

For Urbana, Nathan Mays dropped in 17.

Benjamin Logan has lost fourteen straight. They are 3-16, 1-7.

The Hillclimbers improve to 13-3, 7-1.

Riverside lost to visiting Lima Perry 64-41.

Dalton Bollinger led the Pirates with 16.

Riverside is 5-14, 2-2; the Commodores are 6-10, 3-3.

In a battle of league co-leaders, West Liberty-Salem fell at Greeneview 51-40.

Landon Hormann had 16 and Grant Burden dropped in 15.

The Tigers are 14-5 overall and 10-2 in the OHC.

Evan Bradds paced the Rams with 28.

Greeneview is 16-3 overall and 11-1 in the league.

The JV Tigers beat Greeneview 35-31.

Brandon Adams scored 14.

WLS will visit Anna tonight.

Graham nipped Greenon 60-56.

The Falcons are 10-7 overall and 8-0 in the league.

Northeastern outscored host Triad 62-47.

Ridgemont rallied past host Marion Catholic 53-46.

The Gophers outscored the Irish 22-11 in the final qaurter.

Cody Seiler led the way with 14.

Ridgemont is 7-10, 4-3.

Marion Catholic falls to 2-16, 0-7.

League-leader Springfield Shawnee edged rival Kenton Ridge 36-35.

Tecumseh drubbed Dayton Stebbins 70-50.

Southeastern defeated Mechanicsburg 55-48.

Waynesfield-Goshen shot past Fairbanks 56-45.

Lima Temple Christian outscored Upper Scioto Valley 70-55.

Jackson Center handled visiting Anna 49-33 to clinch their second straight Shelby County League title.

The Tigers raced out to a 33-11 halftime lead.

Senior guard Alex Meyer finished with a game-high 22 points. Sophomore Gavin Wildermuth dropped in 18.

Jackson Center moves to 16-2 overall and 9-1 in SCAL. The Tigers have won ten consecutive games.

Anna falls to 7-11, 5-6.
