Riverside powerlifters shine in Springfield

The Riverside powerlifting team competed in the Springfield Shawnee Invitational Saturday.

The Pirates placed fifteen lifters in the top three of their respective division.

For the Riverside girls:

Allie Dickenson - 1st place Jr. High Division - 110lbs class

Kierstyn Severt - 1st place Jr. High Division - 120lbs class

Ashton Wooddell - 1st place Jr. High Division - 140lbs class

Ashtyn Defibaugh - 1st place High School Division - 120lbs class

Taylor Stevens - 2nd place High School Division - 120lbs class

Bailey Leonard - 3rd place High School Division - 120lbs class

Alex Klinger - 3rd place High School Division - 130lbs class

Erin Pepper - 4th place High School Division - 130lbs class

Caityln Pepper - 6th place High School Division - 150lbs class

For the Riverside boys:

Caleb Stevens - 1st place in Jr. High Division - 145lbs class

Hunter Goings - 1st place in Jr. High Division - 225lbs class

Tanner Glasgow - 8th place in Jr. High Division - 125lbs class

Mike Schaffer - 1st place in High School Division - 135lbs class

Austin Glasgow - 1st place in High School Division - 165lbs class

John Tully - 1st place in High School Division - 195lbs class

Zach Stewart - 2nd place in High School Division - 225lbs class

Kyle Plank (pictured above with a deadlift of 430 lbs) - 2nd place in High School Division - 155 lbs class

Chris Cox - 3rd place in High School Division - 175lbs class

Collin Harbour - 7th place in High School Division - 175lbs class

The Riverside powerlifting team will travel to Bradford High School next weekend.
