Riverside senior infielder Dustin Proffitt signed a letter-of-intent to play college baseball for the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers.Proffitt has bounced back to have a strong senior campaign after missing all of last season after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Proffitt could get as much as $5,000 a year in tuition benefits.
UNOH is an NAIA affiliate that plays in Hoosier-Wolverine Athletic Conference.
Proffitt plans to study litigation studies.
His goal is to play as a freshman and will play whatever position needed to accomplish that goal.
