The four-year letterwinner selected the two-year school after visiting the campus and meeting the team. She also liked the school being close to home.

Oyer is expected to play forward for the Chargers.

She will major in business management and human resources.

Mikaela's older sister, Sadie, plays basketball at the University of Tampa.

Oyer led the Lakers in scoring and rebounding this year.

She also considered Otterbein, Findlay, Bluffton, and UNOH.

Baseball standout Brandan Ross (pictured pitching) signed with Findlay, which competes in Division II.

Ross will pitch and play first base for the Oilers.

He said the Findlay coaches were impressed with the movement on his fastball and his hitting ability.

Ross said playing at the next level has been a longtime dream.

He has helped the Lakers win back-to-back CBC Mad River Division titles.

Ross will study athletic training.

He also considered Ohio Northern, Tiffin, and UNOH.
