The West Liberty-Salem girls track and field team (pictured) won its second consecutive Ohio Heritage Conference title Thursday evening in West Liberty.
WLS beat out a strong Northeastern team 179-136. Team scores: 1st WLS 179, 2nd Northeastern 136, 3rd Greeneview 80, 4th Cedarville 43, 5th Springfield Catholic 37, 6th Mechanicsburg 25, 7th Southeastern 15, 8th Triad 12
The Lady Tigers were led by freshman Morgan Freyhof who won the 100 and 200 meter dashes and senior Meghan Vogel who won the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Freyhof and Vogel were named OHC Co-MVP's.

Also placing first for WLS were Alyssa Strickland in the 3200 meter run and Lauren Godwin in discus.
WLS also won all four relays.
