Updated: Easton Water rolls in Acme; Lions Club beats Belle Center – Tuesday scoreboard

Local ball teams were looking for wins Tuesday evening.

The Bellefontaine Easton Water Acme baseball team ran past host Beavercreek 18-0.

Jarrod Houchin and Cam Henry combined for the two-hit shutout.

Houchin struck out six in three innings. Henry worked the final two innings, striking out one.

Jordan Baughman, Drake Roebuck, and John Kirby each drove in three runs.

Baughman smacked a home run while Kirby and Roebuck each doubled.

Nick Burton was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Bellefontaine is 4-1 on the season. They will play at Xenia Wednesday.

Pony League:

Bellefontaine Lions Club defeated Belle Center 9-1.

Javon Warner, Christian Kelley, and Turner Scott combined for 9 strikeouts.

Reid Gleason tallied two hits and two RBIs and Javon Warner tripled.

Thoman's IGA beat Ridgeway 14-7.

Dalton Randall led the attack with four hits, Mat Prince tallied three hits with a double, and Ben Hyland added two hits.

Randall and Brandon Upton combined for twelve Ks.

Thoman's IGA moves to 9-0.

For Ridgeway, Cade McKinley had three hits and Jace McGue added two hits.

East Liberty Middleburg outlasted St. Paris 11-9 in extra innings.

Austin Nicholl delivered a game-winning grand slam.

Micah Anderson, Josh Whitten, and Toby Stettler combined to strike out ten.

Little League:

Huntsville #1 Logan County Co-op outscored Zanesfield #2 10-7.

Noah Hurley, Aaron Malarkey, and Bryce Ramsey pitched well, teaming up for 11 Ks.

Malarkey was 3-for-3 with a double. Caleb Taylor recorded two doubles and three RBIs.

For Zanesfield, Dalton Rockhold belted a pair of triples.

Bellefontaine #2 Dairy Queen edged West Liberty #2 Pro Sign Design 15-14.

Phil Francis earned the win.

Slate Lenhart and Nate Culp each went 3-for-3 and scored twice.

Coach Pitch:

Huntsville Fast Track Signs handled Zanesfield #3 24-8.

Colby Borgerding had a triple and four RBIs.

Rece Kimmel, Lane Tucci, Tyler Michael, and Davian Hamilton each tallied three hits and three RBIs.

Jackson Young and Evan Manley each recorded two RBIs.

Ryan Culp, Alex Schaub, Dawson Finfrock, and Cambria Tuttle each added two hits.

Huntsville (6-0) will play at West Liberty on Friday.


Huntsville #2 Woody's Diner outscored Zanesfield #3 18-16.

Christopher Timms smacked a grand slam and a double.

Brody Black, Carson Clary, Lilly Wickline, and Griffin Schaub each had three hits.

County T Ball:

Dads Towing beat West Liberty #4 21-17.

Kolton Cummins was 3-for-3 with a grand slam and home run, tallied 7 RBIs, and scored 3 runs.

Sam Varian Jr. tripled, doubled, and singled with 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

Kahne Ferguson came through on the mound with an outstanding performance to hold for the win.

12U Softball:

On Monday, Ridgemont topped Bellefontaine McDonald's 26-1.

Nadia Martino had two RBI singles. Brooklyn Meddles and Rebecca Bash each scored twice.

Chelsea Burkhammer scored for McDonald's on an RBI single by Hannah Rader.

10U Softball:

Huntsville II Thirty-One Tracey Notestine beat Ridgemont II 19-10 Monday.

Kendall Cotterman, Alexis Lones, and Allix Cotterman combined to strike out 11.

Huntsville improves to 6-1-1.

Bellefontaine Area Church Softball League:

Bellefontaine First Church of God #1 beat Quest Community Church West Liberty 23-2.

Calvary Baptist #1 beat Reality Outreach Church 13-6.
