Easton Water Solutions wins again, Brunner fires shutout – Wednesday scoreboard

Several youth teams played under sunny skies Wednesday night.

The Bellefontaine Easton Water Solutions Acme baseball team edged the Xenia Scouts 1-0 at Blue Jacket Park (pictured).

Kyle Brunner fired a three-hit shutout with eight strikeouts.

The only run came in the bottom of the first inning when Nick Burton tripled, then scored on a double by Jarrod Houchin.

Easton Water improves to 11-2. They will host Troy tonight at six o’clock.

City Farm League Tournament:

AcuSport advanced in the winner’s bracket by defeating Lee’s Roofing 7-6.

Robby Wildermuth delivered a walk-off two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Connor Rose belted a double. Cam Cline and Dhalin Damron each had two hits.

For Lee’s Roofing, Nate Schmidt smacked a double.

BPD blanked Brown’s Tree Service 14-0 in their first tournament game.

Jeremy and Jarrid Baughman combined for twelve strikeouts.

Doby Orahood had a triple, a double, and three RBIs.

Jacob Mitchell recorded a double and an RBI.

Tucker Ridenbaugh added two hits.

For Brown’s Tree Service, pitcher Jaeden Campbell struck out three.

Farm League:

Washington #2 ran past Rushsylvania #1 14-1.

Lukas Schwieterman and Logan Evans teamed up for nine Ks.

Evans had two doubles and Reece Lensman added a double.

For Rushsylvania, Hunter Kennaw smacked a home run.



West Liberty Acrux lost to Belle Center 12-7.

Laura Neer pitched a complete game with ten Ks.

Dierdre McGill and Carrington Cordeiro each had two hits.

Abby Dillon, Courtney Neer, and Taylor Henault each added a hit.


Bellefontaine McDonald’s edged Huntsville Osgood State Bank 5-4.

Mckenzie Clark earned the win with a four-hitter.

Hannah Rader had two hits, including a double.

Jalen Brown, Brianna Burkhammer, and Alli Stein added hits.

For Huntsville, pitcher Callie Stidam struck out six.

Kaylee Foreman delivered a double and an RBI.


DeGraff #2 Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home nipped West Liberty #2 5-4.

Courtney Carr struck out nine and Angela Walter added a strikeout.

Carr had a home run and two RBIs. Allison McKee ripped a double and drove in a run.

DeGraff finished the regular season 5-4. They will begin tournament play Saturday in DeGraff.
