The Bellefontaine varsity boys golf team defeated Kenton Ridge Monday night 160-188 at Liberty Hills.
Cody Hullinger was medalist with 36. Cody Lyons shot a 38, Nate Langenfeld and Connor Adelsberger each had a 43. Jarrett Beck with a 45 and Javon Warner’s 53 rounded out the scoring.
Also at Liberty Hills, the West Liberty-Salem varsity boys defeated Greeneview 153-179.
Nick Sims grabbed low honors with an even par 35. Kannon Stillings had a 37, Ethan McBean a 40 and Jake Rutan was fourth with a 41. Casey Gay’s 43 and Dillon Callicoat’s 46 completed the scoring.
The varsity Tigers are now a perfect 10-0 in the league and next face Northeastern Tuesday at National Links.
The JV Tigers beat Greeneview 201-214.
Zach Smith was low with 48. Logan Brown had a 49, Jake Woodruff a 52, and Michael Frederick also a 52. Trevor Davis had a 55 to round out the scoring.
The Benjamin Logan varsity boys golf team defeated Riverside and lost to Northwestern in a tri-match at Tree Links. The match against Northwestern counted as a CBC contest. Northwestern shot a 167, Benjamin Logan was three back at 170, and Riverside recorded a 208.
Benjamin Logan’s Grant Ricketts was medalist with a 37. Garrett Dunn and TJ Fink both had a 44. Tanner Rader was fourth with a 45. Erik Weeks’ 48 and Colin Headings’ 49 completed the scoring.
Riverside was paced by Landon Kelsey‘s 45. Derek Kobylack was next with 52, Ross Stevens shot a 53 and Luke Lowery chipped in with a 58. Jared Trabert had a 63 and Andrew Wright shot a 73.
The Riverside varsity girls team lost to Mechanicsburg 192-239 at Cherokee Hills.
Bailey Leonard was low for the Pirates with a 54.
