BHS boys tie Kenton Ridge – Area soccer scores

BHS vs. Kenton RidgeSeveral area soccer teams were in action Monday night.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys tied Kenton Ridge 2-2 at Dodd Stadium.

Zach Schmid and Nick Gingerich each scored a goal in the second half.

The Chiefs are 5-3-2 overall and 3-2-2 in the CBC.

The JV Chiefs beat the Cougars 3-0.

Matt Voss, Brandon Styles, and Mason Bailey each scored.

The reserves are 5-2.

Bellefontaine will visit Tecumseh Wednesday night.

The Indian Lake varsity boys kicked past host Northwestern 5-0.

Dylan Cline led the attack with 2 goals and an assist.

Dustin Roby recorded a goal and 2 assists.

Brandon Gillen and Parker Grothaus also found the back of the net.

Tyler Rode made 4 saves to earn the shutout.

The Lakers move to 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the CBC. They will host Greenon on Wednesday at 5:30.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys fell at Greenon 2-0.

The JV Raiders defeated the Knights 3-1.

Julian Cain, Jordan McGuire, and Austin Nicholl each scored.

Cain and Nicholl recorded assists.

Danny Elson made 10 saves in goal.

The Raiders move to 5-6.

The Benjamin Logan varsity will host Graham on Wednesday at 6:00.

The Bellefontaine varsity girls lost at Kenton Ridge 3-0.

All of the scoring happened after halftime.

The Lady Chiefs are 3-7-1.

The JV girls edged the Cougars 2-1.

Breanne Parker and Kenzie Patton each scored a goal.

The reserves are 8-1.

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls fell to visiting Greenon 3-0.

The Raiders are 5-6-2. They will play at Graham Wednesday at 6:00.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity girls shut out Mechanicsburg 4-0 Monday.

Annika Wolfe scored 2 goals and Morgan Freyhof and Christy Kauffman each added a score for the Lady Tigers.

Madison Oelker, Kelsi Dowden, and Maddie Gantz each delivered an assist.

April Kelley recorded 5 saves in goal.

The varsity Lady Tigers climb to 6-2-0 and 5-1-0 in league play and host Southeastern Tuesday.

The U13 High Point Stars blanked the Springfield Thunder 5-0 over the weekend.

Tate Schmittauer tallied 2 goals and Drew Wrocklage, Dominik Patton, and Michael Horvath each added a goal.

Luke Woodruff contributed 2 assists and Schmittauer added an assist.

Daunte George, Jackson Strzalka, Isaac Williams, and Isaiah Henry played outstanding defense and Pryce Neeld, Pierce Wall, and Jack Nuspl excelled in the midfield.

Sunday finals:

The U12 High Point Stars tied FC Grandview 2-2.

Preston Henry and Ryan Johnson each scored for the Stars.

Isaiah Henry recorded an assist.

Cameron Epp, Pierce Wall, and Dakota Shell each played the midfield and Jacob Shell and Tanner Harte played great defense.

Miles Harte and Johnson shared the goalkeeper’s duties.
