Benjamin Logan booters earn first league win in two seasons – Soccer scoreboard

A few area high school soccer teams played league games Wednesday night.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys earned their first CBC win in two years by defeating visiting Graham 3-0.

Bryce Gray scored on a breakaway in the first half.

Isaac Bednarki and Austin Ahle each added a goal in the second half to seal the win.

Tristan Miller and Aaron Pennington each delivered an assist.

The Raiders are 3-9 overall and 1-6 in the CBC.

Benjamin Logan will play Kenton at Columbus Crew Stadium Saturday afternoon at 1:15. Admission is free.

The Indian Lake varsity boys kicked past Greenon 3-1.

The host Lakers led 1-0 at the half.

Parker Grothaus, Dustin Roby, and Brandon Gillen each scored.

Roby, Cody Beair, and Dylan Cline each recorded an assist.

Tyler Rode made 6 saves.

The Lakers are 8-5, 5-3.

The Knights fall to 4-7, 3-5.

The JV Lakers edged Greenon 3-2.

Indian Lake will host Benjamin Logan Monday. The JV contest starts at 5:30.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys lost at Tecumseh 8-0.

The Arrows raced out to a 4-0 halftime lead.

BHS head coach Steve Henry said Tecumseh is the best team the Chiefs have played this year.

Bellefontaine is 5-4-2, 3-3-2.

The JV Chiefs lost 4-0.

The reserve team is 5-3.

Bellefontaine will host Tipp City on Monday.

The Bellefontaine varsity girls fell to Tecumseh 8-2 at Dodd Stadium.

Freshman Katie Harman scored twice in the second half.

Bellefontaine is 3-8-1.

The JV Lady Chiefs battled Tecumseh to a scoreless tie.
