Fry, Meek lead Jr. Lakers at Elks Invite

The Indian Lake Middle School cross country teams ran in the Upper Sandusky Elks Middle School Invite Thursday night.

The girls team finished 10th.

Leading the Lady Lakers was Deanna Fry with a 48th place finish out of 105 runners. Deanna set a new personal best record time of 16:18.

Ciara Wall was 52nd and set a new personal best record time of 16:21.

MaryAnn Wahl finished 71st and set a new PR of 17:11.

Kiley Titus finished 75th and set a new PR of 17:32.

Katlyn Pence placed 78th and set a new PR of 18:02.

Mollie Swygart finished 79th with a time of 18:03.

Nina Harris placed 93rd and set a new PR of 19:23.

Hailey Robinson finished 100th with a time of 20:23.

Kerstin Smith placed 103rd and set a new PR of 21:29.

Taylor Whalen finished in 105th and set a new PR of 21:54.

For the boys team, Tommy Meek finished 68th out of 97 runners with a time of 15:29.

Wyatt Maine placed 96th with a new personal best record time of 22:37.

The Jr. Lakers next meet will be on Wednesday at Tipp City.
