Updated: Lady Raiders, Lady Tigers both on wrong end of finals - basketball scoreboard

The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders fell 60-53 to a fourth quarter comeback by Greenon.

The Raiders had built a 42-36 lead through three quarters, but were outscored by the Knights 24-11 in the final stanza.

Marissa Wilbur recorded a double-double for BL, scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, Ciarra Wirick finished with 12 points and Jessica Yoder 10.

The Raiders won the JV contest 30-20. Shelby Kramer and Sadie Ingram each scored six points.

The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers could not find the inside of the net in a 59-15 loss to Greeneview.

Lauren Godwin led the Tigers with four points.

The Tigers won 18-10 in the JV game behind 10 points from Mia Walters and seven from Ashley Holleron.

The Bellefontaine varsity girls team used a fast start to defeat visiting Springfield Shawnee 45-31.

The Chiefs outscored the Braves 15-3 in the opening quarter.

Jazmyn Haley recorded another double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Whitney Rader tallied 12 points and 7 rebounds.

The Chiefs are 9-4.

Other scores:

Ft. Loramie beat Houston 57-24.

Jackson Center lost to Botkins 46-37.

Kenton outscored Ada 65-50.

Ridgemont was blasted 81-29 by Cory-Rawson.

Hardin Northern was shut down by Hopewell-Loudon 49-13.

Waynesfield-Goshen beat Bluffton 54-38.

Minster ripped Russia 53-29.

Lehman was blitzed 71-16 by Versailles.

Mechanicsburg raced past Northeastern 70-31.

Graham lost 51-37 against Northwestern.

Tecumseh held off Kenton Ridge 72-69.

Tipp City battled Stebbins to a 32-27 win.

Urbana outran Indian Lake 77-71.

JR. HIGH

The Eighth grade West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers brought home a victory by defeating Springfield Catholic 31-14.

The Tigers were paced by Lily Yoder and Mikaela McIntosh with 10 points apiece.

Yoder also contributed 5 steals and McIntosh pulled down 8 rebounds.

Also for the Tigers Jenna Magnuson had 4 points and 8 rebounds, while Olivia Ames had 4 assists and 3 steals.

The Lady Tigers are 10-1 in the OHC.

The West Liberty-Salem seventh grade Lady Tigers also defeated the Irish 41-12 to move to 10-1.

Jonni Parker had 24 points and 11 rebounds, Kenedie Cox recorded 6 points and 3 assists, and Tory Cordell contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds.

In a score from Thursday, the seventh grade Lady Chiefs beat Urbana 22-18.

Zoe Price had 4 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 blocks. Kaitlyn Baughman had 4 points. McKenzie Haley and Megan Dyer each had 9 rebounds.

The seventh grade girls are now 8-3. They will host Kenton Tuesday night.

BOYS

Riverside defeated Ansonia 45-34 for their third straight win.

Dalton Bollinger poured in 23 points and Luke Greene added 11.

The JV Pirates lost 45-41.

Jesse Kean and Ross Stevens each tossed in 11 points.

Other varsity boys:

Minster edged Ft. Loramie 52-46.

New Bremen slipped past Covington 53-47.

Jackson Center rolled New Knoxville 56-31.

Botkins beat Parkway 54-45.

Anna fell to top-ranked St. Henry 71-59.

Waynesfield-Goshen lost 72-61 against Ada.

Upper Scioto Valley knocked off Cory-Rawson 42-37.

Hardin Northern nipped North Baltimore 48-47.

Lehman lost to Lima Temple Christian 60-44.

Houston bombed Bradford 68-48.

Russia pounded Catholic Central 77-44.

Tipp City held on for a 65-63 win against Bellbrook.

Triad needed 2OT to beat Shekinah Christian 69-64.

The Calvary Christian high school JV lost Saturday morning 46-17.

Nathan Spyker scored 5 points while Ben Tanner and Alex each added 4 points.
