Title: Water Plant Operator (Full-Time Position)
Department: Water Department
Rate of Pay: $26.47 (Probationary)
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and operate pumps, motors, meters, and chlorination systems
• Test water for quality (turbidity, pH, chlorine)
• Perform equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
• Record and report on plant operations
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, coursework or training in water distribution or
treatment preferred.
• Experience in water supply treatment, or an equivalent combination of education,
training, and experience.
