Champaign County Shooting Academy, Inc. will host their 13th annual Women-on-Target shooting clinic June 27th at the Community Archery Park, 2500 S US 68, Urbana. Slots are limited and must be reserved at https://bit.ly/2026WOT2026. This event is open to women of all ages and experience and is made possible by the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program through a grant from ODNR, Division of Wildlife.
Certified NRA and 4H instructors will present hands-on classes on firearm and archery safety and marksmanship. Class begins at 8:30, ends at 3:00 and is available to women of all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian. All equipment is provided and lunch will be served. $10 registration fee.
About Champaign County Shooting Academy, Inc. The Academy was founded October 3, 2017, as a non-profit charity serving the Champaign County area. The mission of the Academy is to provide facilities to promote firearm and archery safety and marksmanship training programs focusing on youth development organizations, competitive shooting opportunities, hunter education training, access for disabled shooters and women’s programs. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status was approved August 13, 2018.
