47th Annual Boss Summer Run

The 47th annual BOSS summer run will be held at Lions Park in West Liberty on Saturday morning, August 17. A 1-mile youth fun run kicks off at 8:30 AM for ages 12 and under. At 9:00 AM is a 5K run through scenic “Smiling Valley.” There will be door prizes, race medals and cash prizes for the top 3 male and female 5K finishers. All proceeds support West Liberty-Salem Big Orange Cross Country programs.

While you are visiting Lions Park that morning, be sure to enjoy the West Liberty Lions Club’s “World Famous” pancake and sausage breakfast or sausage gravy and biscuits…either before or after the run, at the concession stand in Lions Park. All proceeds from the breakfast support Lions projects at the park.
