The Benjamin Logan Instrumental Music Dept. will be holding a benefit concert on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm in the High School Commons (with music by the BLHS Jazz Combo starting at 5:45pm). This event will raise money for the Logan County Cancer Society. Improvising A Cure, as the event is called, will feature the high school and middle school jazz ensembles and combos. Improvising A Cure will include a silent auction (student artwork), bake sale, 50/50 drawing and BBQ themed dinner (bbq pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, cheesy potatoes, cole slaw etc.). There is no cost to attend this event, but donations are appreciated. All proceeds will be donated to the Logan County Cancer Society. This is our 11th year!
We are selling event shirts as well and they should be in next week. We will be selling them at the event.
I know the members of the jazz ensemble would love to see you there! This event is truly one of highlights of the year for our Music Department.
Please come out to this informal setting for an evening of jazz, food, and community! Open to the Public. April is Jazz Appreciation Month!
