We are still trying to enjoy the weather before winter arrives, therefore we are collaborating with the Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities Washington Township Police Department and Indian Lake EMS Joint Ambulance District to host the 1st Protect and Play Community Day on Saturday, October 19th at Fox Island from 10 a.m. to noon.
Many social service agencies will be in attendance to provide information and link families to services.
At 10:30 a.m. there will be a public service presentation when Washington Township Police Department, Indian Lake EMS Joint Ambulance District, and Indian Lake Joint Fire District will talk to families on ways to keep them safe. During this time kids can meet K9 Hondo, receive a Child ID kit, and talk with a fireman about their safety gear.
Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be displaying technology available to help families.
Many agencies are going to be in attendance Community Health & Wellness Partners Logan County WIC Logan Co Health District, PASS, Council on Rural Services, Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District-Adaptive Sports, Rise FM, and Charlie Health. Make sure to stop out and say Hi.
