Rushsylvania
The Rushsylvania Lions Club Independence Day Celebration is Saturday, June 28th.
Activities will begin with a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at the Lions meeting room, 113 N. Sandusky St., across from the post office, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Breakfast will include hot, delicious pancakes, locally raised whole hog sausage, orange juice, coffee or milk and carry out will also be available. Proceeds will go for local community service projects.
The Lions Club Independence Day Parade will begin at 12 noon through the downtown area and ending at the village park. All parade entries are asked to line up on Stewart Street at 11:30 a.m. The Village of Rushsylvania also has many festivities planned that will take place throughout the day at the village park with fun activities and events for children and adults, an evening concert and fireworks at dusk.
