Soul’d Out to Perform Benefit for Morgan’s Place

Soul’d Out Trio is a Southern Gospel singing group founded by Matt Rankin.  Their mission is to share the word of God through music.  They do so by visiting churches, fairs, theaters, and other venues.  Soul’d Out has been in the west central Ohio area a number of times and appear yearly at the gospel tent at the Auglaize County Fair.

On Saturday evening, October 25th, Soul’d Out will give their fourth benefit concert for Morgan’s Place.  The event will include dinner, a quilt auction, a 50/50 drawing, and a raffle for many more prizes.  The doors will open at 5:00 PM at Winner’s Harvest Barn, 7317 State Route 47, DeGraff, Ohio.  Dinner will begin at 6:00 PM, entertainment at 7:00 PM, followed by the quilt auction.  Tickets are only $ 25.00 per person and $ 15.00 for youth.  Several individuals as well as Monnier and Company, Certified Public Accountants, and The First National Bank of New Bremen are already on board as sponsors.  Additional sponsorships are available.

Morgan’s Place Cemetery, located at 1254 State Route 589, Sidney, is the vision of Nathan and Mollie Verdier.  Morgan is the name of their child that did not survive to birth.  In their sorrow and prayers, they received a calling to create a cemetery for babies such as theirs to be put at rest.

Morgan’s Place offers assistance in all aspects of such heart wrenching loss.  Services include everything from free burials to support groups for grieving families.  The grounds are also the home of a memory wall where babies may be remembered from years gone by when that option may not have existed or been well known.  Morgan’s Place is a special refuge of peace and tranquility.
