Do you know of a child turning five by August 20, 2026? Are you looking for a GREAT school for them to attend in the fall?
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year at Urbana City Schools is NOW OPEN to children living in the district and outside of the district through Open Enrollment. Children must be five years old on or before August 20, 2026, to be eligible to enroll. Families will complete the registration process online FIRST through FinalForms at: urbana-oh.finalforms.com.
Parents who are new to the district will need to create an account and register their student, while families with a current preschool student should log in to their existing FinalForms account and click “Update Forms” to move their child to kindergarten. All forms must be completed and submitted before scheduling a screening appointment. Please click HERE for a full set of registration directions.
After completing the online forms, families should call Mrs. Carrie Thomas: 937-653-1453, ext. 2453 between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm to schedule a Kindergarten screening appointment. Screenings will be scheduled for May 11 or 12 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or May 13 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
